Happy Race Week, MIT.
There is a LOT of important information in this newsletter regarding race day and next season, so please read thoroughly!
But first, let's take a step back... Because just like that, another season of MIT is behind us.
You've logged hundreds of miles. You've (probably) gone through a pair of running shoes or two. You've shivered in the snow. You've waded through the puddles (Ok, maybe just Pace Coach Brian). You've hit major milestones. And because we're human, you've probably had a disappointment or two.
All of these experiences throughout the season have led up to this moment. When you toe the line to see what you're made of. Whether that is grit or joy or friendship or consistency -- This weekend, you will show up for yourself. And I'm proud of you.
I hope you reach your goals.
I hope you find a strength within that surprises you.
I hope you find confidence and grit in the hard moments.
Most of all, I hope you find joy.
Take it all in, MIT. You've got this!
Cheers,
Coach Hannah

After careful consideration and planning, I'm excited to share with you some exciting news on the future direction of MIT.
I have worked with many of you, my team at Fleet Feet, and other leaders within our community to lay the groundwork for how we can grow our program and expand our impact with the development of the MIT Advisory Board and MIT Cultural Committee.
And I want YOU to apply!
The MIT Advisory Board (Board of Directors)
A group of appointed experts within our community who will lend their skills, guidance, knowledge and experience to MIT/Fleet Feet to offer advice and direction to help MIT grow and achieve its goals and mission work.
The MIT Cultural Committee (Fun Orchestrators)
Exists to help maintain, uphold, communicate the core values of MIT. It exists to create a culture within MIT where our members can thrive -- both athletically and personally. The MIT Cultural Committee has less rigid requirements for acceptance, and reports directly to me and the advisory board.
Interested in getting more involved? Click below to learn more about the time commitment, requirements, and timeline of these two opportunities. If after reading you feel you'd make a good fit for either group, please apply below!

5. Do yourself a favor and plan to leave for the race 15 minutes earlier than you think you need to.

7. Bring dry clothes in your gear bag to change into after the race.
