INJURIES & HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM.

 

Happy Tuesday, MIT!

As the runs get longer and the demand on our bodies increases, it is the time of the season where injuries can rear their ugly heads. During this cycle-back week where we are encouraged to prioritize rest and recovery, we would like to discuss how to deal with injuries when they arise. Everyone knows the importance of taking care of the PHYSICAL aspects of dealing with an injury, but how about the mental aspects?

This week, Fit for Life Physical Therapist Chelsea Hall teams up with Dr. Heather Bechtel to discuss both the physical and mental/emotional components of dealing with injuries.

This week Dr Heather Bechtel and FFL’s Chelsea Hall are going to help us tackle the difficult topic of how to deal with an injury.  Through their excellent NEW articles, we will spend time reviewing both the mental and physical components of how to deal with a running or walking injury, so you can return to jumping for joy with your friends ASAP post-injury!
