ARE YOU READY, MIT?!!

And so the countdown begins! Are you ready for the world's best summer of training? Are you ready to accomplish big things and chase joy alongside 300 of your best friends?!

Only two more weeks until we all gather together at Fleet Feet Lewis Center to kick-off another amazing Summer session of MIT! With each passing season of MIT, I become more and more inspired by this community. The stories of how running and walking have changed your life resonate deeply with me, and I encourage you to keep sharing them with others.

Dry Needling and Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is muscle soreness that develops 24-48 hours following intense bouts of exercise. Dry needling can make you less sore, improve recovery of muscle damage, and improve muscle strength after DOMS.

At Fit For Life, dry needling is always part of a larger physical therapy treatment plan and serves as an aid to achieve your treatment goals. It is not a service we offer separate from a comprehensive physical therapy plan of care.

MIT SUMMER KICKOFF

6/10 at 7:30AM

Join us on Saturday, June 10th for the Kickoff of MIT's Summer Session! 

Location:

Fleet Feet Lewis Center

Run Schedule:

Half Marathon - 3 miles

Full Marathon - 5 miles

AMP - 5 miles

Details:

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to find parking and use the restrooms. Pace Coaches will be in place carrying large blue pace signs. Find your desired pace and join the group!

 

Pop over to the New Balance table prior to the run and demo a pair of shoes in their latest lineup!

 

Stick around afterwards and celebrate our first day of training with bagels, snacks, and a special electrolyte beer poured by our friends at Olentangy River Brewing Company!

NEW MIT MEMBERS:

Please check-in at the NEW MEMBER Table (follow the signs) and our Member Experience team will sign you in, connect you to the right pace group, and answer any questions you have prior to the workout!
