Half Marathon Training

Too often we hear "I'm just training for a half." JUST?! Training for and completing a half marathon requires every bit as much determination and courage as it does for a full marathon! There is no "JUST" a half!

Our half marathon program will help you reach your goals whether this is your first our fifteenth half marathon!

Over the course of the season we provide you with the tools to complete your half marathon. But more importantly we will be your resource to change your life. To make running, walking and moving integral to your lifestyle. To improve your overall health and wellness.

When does training start?

You can start today! We provide customized training schedules for every half marathon. Our groups workouts do follow a set schedule based on our local half marathons:

  • Fleet Feet Warm Up Columbus, Half, Full, 5K and 10K in February

  • OhioHealth Capital City Half, Quarter and 10K in April

OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half & Quarter Marathon August

Nationwide Children's Columbus Half and Full in October.

While we have set mileage for those training for those workouts each Saturday, we have participants training for races all over the country at all times of the year. No matter what distance you are doing, you will never be out on the trails alone!

How far do I need to be able to run before getting started?

Zero miles! We will get you from wherever you are today to the starting line with our proven program! There are three different training levels for you to choose from based on your ability level, and you can change schedules at any time!
