Week 15 of Training: SWITCH TO 7:30AM LONG RUN START
Hello, MIT!
I’m back stateside and so excited to see everyone this week at workouts! NOTE: This week we push back our Saturday long run to 7:30am.
👏 Fulls: Welcome to Taper
Congratulations to our full marathoners on conquering peak week! You’ve put in an incredible amount of work, and now it’s time to let your body recover, adapt, and grow stronger. Embrace the taper, your fitness is already there.
⚡ Halfs: One Final Push
For our half marathoners, this is it: your peak week! Lean into the challenge of your biggest mileage and intensity yet. Prioritize sleep, hydration, and fueling so your body has what it needs to carry you through. You’ve built the strength, now’s the time to show it.
🌀 About Those “Taper Crazies”
It’s normal to feel restless, anxious, or overly energetic as your training volume drops. Trust the process. Stick to your plan, take care of yourself, and remember, you’ve already done the work.
🦵 When to Come Back After Injury
This week we’re talking about recognizing the right time to return after an injury. Listening to your body, easing back smartly, and seeking guidance when needed are key to staying strong and preventing setbacks.
2026 ANNAUL MEMBERSHIP IS NOW LIVE
Use code EARLYBIRD2026 for $30 off your 2026 ANNUAL membership. The early bird code is only good until October 31st!

See you out there!

DEALING WITH INJURIES
...PHYSICALLY & MENTALLY
Injuries: they’re the hurdle none of us want to face, but almost every runner or walker encounters at some point. This week, Dr. Heather Bechtel and FFL’s Chelsea Hall team up to guide us through the challenge of “how to deal with an injury.” Together, they’ll explore both sides of the equation: the mental resilience it takes to stay positive and the physical steps that can help you return smarter and stronger.
