Fast Rabbits Youth Running Club​

Let us help your children discover a love for running!

​

• Only one in three children are physically active every day.

• Less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day; only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.

 

Fleet Feet is here to buck the trend, and have a whole lot of fun along the way! The Fast Rabbits Youth Running Club offers participants the opportunity to participate in regular physical activity and to learn about healthy lifestyle behaviors.

WHY FAST RABBITS?

 

The focus of the club is to introduce participants to different types of running/training (i.e. road running, trail running, track workouts and circuit training), as well as fun activities. 

​

The Fast Rabbits Youth Run Club is a ten-week program offered in Spring, Summer and Fall, which includes daily plans for 60 minutes of physical activity (i.e. running drills, dynamic warm-up, running, games, and post workout stretching) to be implemented each week. Runners will learn about and experience hands-on activities relating to different areas of running and a healthier lifestyle.

FAST RABBITS SPRING TRACK CLUB - Registration Closed 

March 13, 2023 - May 20, 2023

​

• Open to runners in grades 3rd-6th

• Workouts are held at different locations 2 days a week

• Tuesdays: TBD, Thursdays: TBD

• The club will participate in the Scioto Miles Half Mile Kids Run, and The Fast Rabbit Track Challenge (choice of 400m, 100m, & 1600m races!) as well as USATF Junior Olympic meets.

• Cost

  • ​$75 for the season, or...

  • $125 for the season AND a pair of Diadora shoes!

FAST RABBITS SUMMER RUN CLUB - Registration Open!

May 31, 2023 - August 11, 2023

​

• Open to runners in grades 3rd-8th

• Workouts are held at 3 locations Tuesday-Thursday 6:30pm-8:00pm

• Tuesday Snouffer Park in Worthington, Wednesday Griggs Reservoir, Thursday Snouffer Park in Worthington

• The club will participate in the Fast Rabbits Summer Mile Challenge on July 5th, and the Fleet Feet Summer of XC Meet on August 12th

• Cost:

  • ​$75 for the season, or...

  • $125 for the season AND a pair of Diadora shoes!

 

FAST RABBITS FALL XC CLUB - Registration Closed

August 23, 2023 - October 27, 2023

• Open to runners in grades 3rd-6th

• Workouts held at 2 locations Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-7:00pm​

• Tuesdays @Snouffer Road Park, Thursday @Alum Creek Dam

• The club will participate in the Fast Rabbits Fall Mile Challenge, Eisenhart Youth XC Meet, the Bluffsview Bears XC Meet, and the Ohio Elementary School State XC Championship, as well as various other meets.
