Hi MIT,

We hope you are looking forward to a taste of warmer weather this week (we are just going to pretend that those couple inches of snow didn't happen yesterday!). It's perfect for getting outside and logging those miles on your build week.

Everyone, you’re in the home stretch of this build! One more big push this week, culminating in a 9- and 18-miler on Saturday. Stay strong, stay focused, and trust the work you’ve put in.  After this week, you’ve earned some recovery, so be sure to prioritize rest, fuel up, and let your body absorb all that hard work next week.

We have a few great articles that zero in on the ladies of MIT. In the wake of Eating Disorder Awareness Week, please take some time to review Rebecca's article on RED (Relative Energy Deficiency). As someone in recovery who has struggled with an eating disorder, body dysmorphia, and exercise addiction throughout my running career, I am keenly aware of endurance training's hidden risks to our physical and mental health. If you or someone around you is struggling with disordered eating or exercise behaviors, I will always be a safe place to turn to for support and resources. You deserve to be well-fueled & well-balanced in this journey. <3

And finally—mark your calendars for RUN COLUMBUS RUN on Saturday, April 11th at Crooked Can Brewing! This FREE annual community long run is always a blast. Both groups will run 12 miles, and we’ll celebrate together afterward. More details to come!

Keep running & walking strong, MIT! 💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

See you out there,
