Week 14: BIG BUILD, HOME STRETCH
LET'S GO, MIT!
👏 FULLS - WELCOME TO PEAK WEEK, HALFS - YOU'RE UP NEXT. You're in the homestretch. Dig deep. Be bold. Stay strong! This week is the week to nail down your race day strategy. Fuel, hydration, gear, and shoes should be top of mind heading into this week's 20 miler. Treat it as a test-run for race day. Eat what you would before the race. Fuel on the run like you would during the race. Wear your race-day kit and shoes. THIS IS IT, Y'ALL!
💡 In this week’s Fit for Life articles, we dive into the details of race day preparation—from nutrition to super shoes, we're sharing tips and tricks to set you up for success.
🏃♀️🏃♂️ RUN COLUMBUS RUN is coming up on Saturday, April 12th, at Crooked Can Brewing! This is our annual FREE community long run, and both groups will take on 12 miles together. It’s always a highlight of the season! MIT members must register—don’t wait!
🔥 NEXT WEEK: Our Race Week Nutrition Session will be on Tuesday, April 8th at 6:00pm at the Track House. This is the time to join and ask questions about carb loading, gels and hydration on race day, and how to eat the morning of your race! RSVP HERE.
Stay focused, MIT. You've built a hell of a lot of GRIT & MOXIE over these last 14 weeks, and it will all pay off when you toe the line on race day. 💪🏃♂️🔥
Happy Running, Walking, Moving & Shaking,
Coach Hannah
